A new publication from Age and Ageing highlights the inclusion of fracture risk assessment tools, such as FRAX®, QFracture and Garvan advocated by NICE in case finding. This will never replace fracture incidence as an indicator of clinical efficiency but could be useful in identifying patient groups who would benefit from intervention.
