ProFaNE is working with EuroSafe to organise a session at the 3rd European conference on injury prevention and safety promotion, Budapest, 16-17 June 2011.
The session will be on Implementation of good practice in fall and fall-injury prevention strategies amongst older people.
We are looking for examples of good practice from anywhere in Europe.

Do you know of successful fall prevention initiatives in your city, region, country?

Please send an abstract to the conference using the website.
Please mark the abstract as "Policy and Practice" and provide a description of the project, explaining the population, intervention, how it was implemented and how success was measured. In the comments box on the submission form please mark that your submission is to be considered as "Example for Implementation of good practice in fall and fall-injury prevention strategies"
Deadline is 15th January 2011.
The programme committee will then select up to two submissions for complimentary conference registration and oral presentation of a paper at the conference. Other submissions will be selected as poster presentations at the conference.
